The Item: Up and coming actress Laura Herrier Wearing Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 RTW. The Spiderman Homecoming starlet was spotted in her glitzy attire while in attendance for “An Evening Honoring Louis Vuitton and Nicolas Ghesquiere. Festivities were held in New York City.

You Asked: It’s Laura! So happy to see her out and about. I thought she did amazing in the Spiderman movie. I think she can win an Oscar one day. She is just a classic beauty with that old Hollywood charm. I saw her look on Instagram by the way and at first wasn’t sure if I liked it but it grew on me. Especially the top! Who in the world made it, do you know?

Now this is a fashion moment! Naomi, Cindy, Claudia, Carla and Helena all reunited on the catwalk amid fashion week! During the Versace SS18 runway show, Donatella presented a tribute honoring the great Gianni Versace as well as the luxurious fashion house itself. Therefore, what was the surprise? The designer brought back a few of the most iconic supermodels ever associated with the Versace family.

It’s like the 80s and 90s are back! First, designer Tom Ford showcases a collection reminiscent of “Dynasty” and 80s couture trends; and now, the supermodels who most likely rocked such looks originally are back on the runway! Naomi Campbell as well as the other fashion royals were almost speechless over the reunion. Here is what they had to say:

New York Fashion Week: Fenty x Puma SS18 Runway Show

Hello Moto! Rihanna once again brought Fashion Week to it’s knees! We’re talking about flying motorcycles, a rolling pink obstacle catwalk and of course the flyest models in the game. The Fenty x Puma SS18 fashion show was an edgy fashionista’s dream.

The songstress turned fashion designer showcased a runway show inspired by the Moto X, extreme sports community. The fashions are certainly of the athleisure fold. A popular trend designed for making athletic wear more stylish to be worn in situations outside of workouts or athletic activities.

The show was very much RiRi-eqse, making it a cinch to see bits and pieces of her personal flair throughout. Puma obviously agreed. While showing highlights of the Fenty x Puma SS18 show the Puma brand says, “Introducing the new daredevil Fenty x Puma collection by Badgalriri (Rihanna). Making waves the only way Rihanna can. NYFW.”

Several pieces and garments caught our eye (i.e. tracksuits, hoodies, bodysuits and amazing outerwear). However, one element that could not be ignored is Rihanna’s fabulously designed shoes! Bold colors, interesting heel options, comfy slippers and thigh high sporty boots that are definitely made for walking slid their way down the catwalk. Furthermore, our personal favorite design is a flip flop converted into an ankle strap heel. It’s a laid back look with a certain je ne sais quoi that can not be ignored.

After the high energy show the lady of the hour briefly talked about her Fenty x Puma SS18 runway show. Miss Robyn Fenty says,

“When the X-Games come to fashion week. Thank you guys for making this show the best one yet! I feel like the coolest on the block now! Lol!

Shoutout to all my beautiful and talented models who absolutely murdered this show last night.”

So then, who were some of the models who stomped the catwalk yard? We loved seeing Joan Smalls, Slick Woods, Duckie Thot as well as Victoria’s Secret supermodel Adriana Lima. Now no fashion show is complete without celebrity fanfare. Therefore, who made their way out to NYFW in order to support Rihanna’s big night? We spied Pharrell Williams, Big Sean, Cardi B, Jhene Aiko, Ty Dolla Sign, A$ap Ferg, Offset and Dave East to name a few.

Like seriously, is there anything this gorgeous specimen can’t do? She models designer fashions like a pro, dances like a dream, is total body goals, raps bars better than the boys, is a sneakerhead and oh yeah, she can sing! Nevertheless, now TT is adding one more item to her ever growing resume: runway model. Ah yes, NYFW SS18 wasn’t ready as Teyana Taylor Closes GCDS Fashion Show!

Clothing brand, GCDS, heated things up during NYFW with a fashion show certainly for the style books. The collection featured several pieces oozing of mid 90s glamour. Think crop tops, layers, chain belts, logo pants and shirts as well as mini skirts.

Moreover, Teyana’s closing number garments screamed Queen Bee. Naw not Beyonce, we mean the original and notorious Ms. Lil’ Kim! Teyana Taylor hit the catwalk in an all white couture ensemble featuring a cropped top, stunner shades, booty shorts and gold chains as well as accessories.

Nevertheless, for a quick moment can we talk about Teyana’s walk?! Believe us when we say this lovely girl is straight MEAN on a runway. Her walk is powerful and fierce like Naomi. It’s strong and signature like Tyra. It’s bold and sassy like Adriana. If Teyana ever wanted to change her career to catwalk model she should have no issue finding work.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell opening and closing the show for Azzedine Alaia is no small feat. Especially, in an industry that heralds and glamorizes youth and beauty. Models are literally in one day and out the next.

The average model’s career is less than five years. However, supermodel Naomi Campbell has been walking in shows for Azzedine Alaia for over three decades.

Yes, let that set in. Since 1983 Miss Campbell’s signature strut has been a staple on any catwalk associated with Azzedine Alaia. For this reason we tip our six inch heels in her honor and have to say she still looks as amazing as when she began her career!

Several models who also walked in the Azzedine Alaia AW17 show were just as excited about Naomi stomping the catwalk. Here is what a few had to say.

One show we have been anxiously awaiting is the from the creative mind of John Galliano. The Maison Margiela Autumn-Winter 2017 ‘Artisanal’ Show.

As a result, we have all the runway details! From the venue to the catwalk. From the house’s rich history to also their newest modern designs. Therefore, here is your exclusive look!

Paris Couture Week: Maison Margiela Autumn-Winter 2017 ‘Artisanal’ Show

For this season’s runway show, the location is as special as the designs themselves. The fashion house explains, “Couture week is upon us: the Maison Margiela Autumn-Winter 2017 ‘Artisanal’ show will take place in Paris. The Maison Margiela ‘Artisanal’ Collection [is] designed by John Galliano.

For the first time, the ‘Artisanal’ Collection will be presented at the House’s Parisian headquarters. A former convent, and later industrial design school. The 18th century structure served as Martin Margiela’s studio and has housed Maison Margiela since 2004. Inside Maison Margiela: [the] ‘Artisanal’ show venue recreates the House’s creative process.”

Each delicately tailored garment of the Maison Margiela AW17 collection is beaming of details! As your eyes seek to encompass the big picture of a particular design; more elements seem to come to the fore. Furthermore, the ritzy fashion house kindly shares in-depth design specifications. Maison Margiela reveals,

“Highlights from our AW17 show fresh off the catwalk. Look 3 features a wool coat, held up by an inner corselet, featuring a cut-out neckline and string detailing. This ensemble is worn with detached sleeves, a white leather trench coat beat and cowboy boots.

A crin dress with a feather embroidery hem is worn with a waspie bustier. [Also] with trench cotton pin tucks.

Look 8 from our Autumn-Winter 2017 ‘Artisanal Collection features a trench coat merged with a gold brocade dress worn with a bustier.

Zooming in on Look 12. An organza and crin pin-tucked coat is paired with a trompe l’oeil trench coat.

A knit decortique bustier top is worn with a feather skirt, a knit belt and a twil lining shoulder pad accessory in Look 14.

Look 21. A silk crepe silk dress in reverse decortique with gold plated studs and embroidery worn with a pearl cage top.

Look 22 is composed of a wool coat dress with Klein blue crocodile detailing paired with a leather belt.”

Maria Grazia Chiuri came out guns blazing! For quite a time anticipation has been brewing over Maria’s big Dior Cruise debut. With all eyes from the industry on her and her stunning collection Chiuri opened fire with a sizzling lineup as iconic as the Wild West itself! Tip those hats dolls we are riding off into the sunset with a quick recap of the Dior Cruise 2018 Runway Show.

Dior Cruise 2018 Runway Show – “Dior Sauvage”- The Wild Wild West

Set against the backdrop of the wide open plains of California, the Dior Cruise 2018 runway show was magically ethereal. Cascading tents, hot air balloons, fire pits and delicate dim lighting of lanterns danced across the catwalk into the dusk sky. Dior effortless captured the aura of the old west while infusing their runway and high-end designs with the classic modern Dior flair.

Nevertheless, forget needing to be saved by some lasso throwing cowboy. The Dior Sauvage couture came off strong, bold, rustic without sacrificing even a hint femininity. The woman who adorns herself in this collection can hold a torch on her own but can still revel and bask in her womanly allure.

Dior Cruise 2018 Runway Show

The Dior fashion house gave an earful of what served as the inspiration behind the 2018 cruise collection. Furthermore, even though the garments certainly spoke for themselves, we absolutely loved every word they said! Dior mentions,

“For her first cruise collection for the House, Maria Grazia Chiuri has employed the Dior Savoir Faire. Reinventing it to tell her story in idealized forms. A story that alters proportions and lengths to correspond to the contemporary landscape, in which sport mixes with haute couture. Where tradition transforms into ornamental abstraction and materials see their status changed.

A collection informed by a wild and ancient femininity bound to the magic of the earth! Maria Grazia Chiuri continues to remain loyal to her feminist vision. Design by a woman for a woman.

From the prehistoric wolves emerging from the Lascaux cave on the striking silk jacquards. To the reinterpreted female handprints becoming magnificent sequined embroideries in earthy shades. Maria sought to embrace and explore the Dior heritage for her Dior Cruise 2018 collection!
