Rihanna Takes a Seat For Dior Magazine Photoshoot

Rihanna Takes a Seat For Dior Magazine Photoshoot

Our favorite singer turned supermodel, Rihanna, has done it again! Rihanna shutdown the haters and social media with the release of her photos from her recent Dior magazine photoshoot. In the shots Rihanna is seen posing in, besides, in front of and up against a sleek glassy chair.

The Rihanna times Dior photoshoot was lensed by British photographer Craig McDean who is now based in NYC. McDean is a prominent photographer whose numerous credits include everyone from Vogue to Interview magazine. McDean has also shot editorial pieces of celebrities such as Elle Fanning, Shia LeBeouf as well as Scarlet Johansson to name a few.

Back in the beginning of 2015 Rihanna began her tenure as the first black Dior brand ambassador. Her latest images for this Dior shoot will be apart of the eleventh edition of Dior magazine. Rihanna showcases designs from the fall 2015 collection of Dior which includes a number of sheer fashions along with skirts and jumpsuits.

Fashionable Mention: Iman in Balmain Pre-Fall 2015

Fashionable Mention Iman in Balmain Pre-Fall 2015

Here is a quick fashion nod to Iman who rocks the heck out of Balmain’s Pre-Fall 2015 collection. We had already posted regarding the fabulousity of these particular designs but when you add in the stunning grace of supermodel Iman it just takes things to another level. Moreover, we have said it once and we will continue to iterate that there is no way that this woman is 60!

Iman showcases the gorgeous Balmain creations in the latest issue of L’Officiel Netherlands which is appropriately entitled, “Sweet Sixty.” If we wind up looking that dang good in the coming years than we will know we are truly blessed with good genes like this sassy lady! Iman slays women half her age and does it all with elegance and sophistication. A true role model for any young girls aiming for the brightly lit stars.

Fashionable Mention Iman in Balmain Pre-Fall 2015-3

The color scheme and tailoring of the Balmain collection is simply bar none. We are loving the return of pleats which was a major hit and trend a few seasons back. Moreover, the use of florals in fall instead of spring is so airy and festive you begin to forget the dreary weather that is quickly approaching us all. Balmain is for the girl who is powerful yet feminine, bold yet oozing with finesse. If that’s you then you need to go ahead and submit to being a member of Oliver Rousteing’s army!

Model Alexis Primous Goes From Instagram to W Magazine Covergirl5

With the world becoming more visual and smaller due to social media many hopefuls hope to be seen as well as discovered. Our feature photographer was just mentioning how many times you will see IG bios including an email as well as the words, “Serious inquires only!” Moreover, what about the countless memes joking about males and females being models apart of the Instagram modeling agency?

Those scenarios and situations only highlight the dream of going from Instagram unknown to a major force to be reckoned with in the modeling world. Nevertheless, for one fortunate young lady that is exactly what happened! Model Alexis Primous took part in an Instagram model search that was conducted in behalf of IMG Models as well as W Magazine. Get Your Man Right: GQ Mag’s Fall/Winter 2015 Fashion Editorial

Get Your Man Right GQ Mag's Fall-Winter 2015 Fashion Editorial5

If Bae would like a little advice as to how to look like he just walked out of the Monte Carlo with Agent 007 showing him the sights ( tell him that, he’ll love it), then there is a special GQ issue he’ll enjoy flipping through. Gift your man with GQ’s September issue which includes a nifty fashion editorial highlighting the best of men’s fall/winter 2015 couture. The editorial includes designs by Armani, Gucci, Boss and Prada just to name a few.

Some of the looks that we took note of were by Boss, Ralph Lauren and Versace. Boss and Ralph Lauren both showcase models wearing a turtleneck top and tailored jacket. This is perfect for the guy that does not always like to wear a tie or just has a hard time matching them to his suits. The guesswork and stress of coordinating is eliminated and a guy still gets to keep the sauve factor going.

Nevertheless, Versace had us talking over our cups of coffee due to the boldness of putting a man in a fur. If your man has a boisterous personality and doesn’t mind taking fashion risks then this look will bring out his style passion. Check out some of the editorial to inspire your man’s fashion juices to get flowing.

We love a great fashion quote and it’s always fun to see how different celebrities weigh in on the topic as well. Here is our newest find:

“Fashion is chaotic, and it can be an aggravation, too, but it is at its best when it allows you to express yourself.”

-John Malkovich
