Hang on to your earbuds, there’s more new music dropping. Kehlani is all set to release her brand new single Out the Window on November 7! The song is about love, loss and the strong emotions of regret.
Kehlani is not new to making her fans vibe while feeling deep thoughts on romantic subject matter. And her new track does just that. Out the Window is a lyrical expression of how it feels when you wish you could get a “do-over” or try things again with that special someone.
In her song Kehlani melodically chimes, “give anything for you to pick up when I call,
So hard to reach, it’s like I’m talking to a wall.
And I know I’m to blame, I played in your face, it’s too little, too late.” Ouch. Sounds like a tough lesson to learn.
Which is why Kehlani’s chorus is so fitting. She asks for another chance. In the chorus she sings,
“But, baby, I want you
I’m focused, it’s overdue
Don’t throw it out the window, out the window
The late nights, the half truths
I was reckless, let me prove to you
I’ll throw ‘еm out the window, out the window.”

The visuals for Out the Window cover art are simple yet still beautifully executed and appealing. The cover features a striking close-up portrait of Kehlani against a clean white background, with the title placed prominently to the right. The photograph was shot by Markus Klinko – noted for iconic work with Beyoncé and Mariah Carey- marking a high-profile visual statement for the single.
Kehlani began teasing Out The Window way back on Oct. 13. However, since then, she’s made sure that her followers and music enthusiasts have been treated to plenty of previews of the eagerly anticipated track. But this isn’t all that is coming down the pipeline.
