Carol’s Daughter has a new owner. The product line was purchased by French cosmetic company L’Oreal.
Carol’s Daughter is the ethnic hair and beauty line that was started in 1993 by Lisa Price. During its heyday, Carol’s Daughter was the product to have, and featured many celebrity endorsements from Jada Pinkett Smith to Mary J. Blige. The past few years have been difficult with numerous store closings.
Ms. Price released a statement that she’s pleased that after 21 years of work and nurturing, Carol’s Daughter has a new home with L’Oreal USA, and she’s happy to begin the next chapter of her beauty line with the legendary cosmetics company.
