What It Means: If you have oily skin astringent will help you to control surface oils as well as lower the pH after cleansing.
We Recommend: “I have been fighting with oily skin since I was a teen and it still gives me issues from time to time. To help me keep my skin in order as much as possible I’ll use am astringent made by Neutrogena. I’ve been using it for years and it works! My only caution is that you constantly have to monitor and readjust your usage. Sometimes you may need more applications then other times you will not. If you do not watch it you could actually notice your skin becoming really dry. I find that when I’m very oily I’ll need to do more applications, but once I start gaining control again I can reduce how many times I use it.”
