We have been fans of Amanda Stenberg ever since we first saw her in Hunger Games. Amanda can be seen in a full editorial and on the cover of Dazed for the September edition. You will notice that Amanda has written phrases painted on her face which was actually inspired by activist Angela Davis. This is a quite fitting move for Stenberg who is very concerned and outspoken when it comes to social injustice.
Amanda has on numerous occasions taken to social media in order to voice her opinion on various social issues including racism. In regards to using Tumblr to fuel her voice Stenberg has said,
“Tumblr has totally informed what I’m interested in and what I care about, especially when it comes to social justice… It’s such a cool platform for learning about black and trans rights.”
Amanda definitely has an agenda and it includes ensuring that one and all are treated fairly. Stenberg is definitely turning into a kind-spirited, well-rounded young woman who is sure to meet any challenges she faces with success. Check out her socially conscious fashion editorial below which was lensed by Gregory Harris. Moreover, Amanda Stenberg even rocks some fashion by Marc Jacobs with the shoot being styled by Robbie Spencer.
