WhenWearGo: Ruins Of Pompeii

It’s hard to believe that Pompeii was a bustling town with running water, brothels, bath houses and many more modern convinces. When you walk through the streets you just feel overwhelmed by how many people died in the wide open streets of Pompeii just because they did not heed the early warnings to flee.

Exploring the fascinating ancient ruins of Pompeii you see the destruction of Mt Vesuvius’s massive eruption thousands of years ago. This ancient Roman city that was entirely destroyed by the sudden eruption of Mt Vesuvius in 79 AD and is marked as the largest archaeological site in Europe.

As you meander through the streets you are able to walk through the mansions of the wealthy people of the city. It’s unbelievable, you can still see the artwork on the walls, walk through their gardens and check out their sleeping quarters.

Their are even clues and markers on the street to direct the young men to the ladies of the night and from the looks of the paintings and fresco on the walls things were very erotic in the town of Pompeii.
