Style Ambassador: Stripes and Everything Nice

Style Ambassador Stripes and Everything Nice

By the looks of things we see that you are loving keeping up with our Style Ambassador Carly aka Carlifonia. Stripes were a major trend this year on the runway and Carly showcases how she personally likes to rock it! Alright dolls let’s break down her look…

Carly rocks a nautical stripe top that she paired with a chic pair of distressed denim. Now, here is where the fun part really begins, adding accessories to the mix. Our SA added a hat, necklace as well as pop of color with her handbag and peep-toe shoes. The pop of color is great to add more dimension to your outfit.

Carly has been busy with school learning the ropes on how to be a stellar engineer. We are super impressed with how posed she has been during her tough exams and how she seems to know at such a young age what she really wants out of life. She recently shared with us what is her key to being so well-adjusted. She said,

“I’ve realized that you are not going to know you really are, nor what you are made of if you do not give yourself time. However, if you give yourself time you might just be surprised with the outcome.”

Time…something that almost seems to allude us is all that is needed for us to round out into the individuals we really wish to be. A cake is only good if it is allowed to bake to its full potential. Let’s all be like Carly in order to give ourselves the time to fully develop and reach success.

Look of the Week: Naomie Harris Attends NSPCC Neo-Romantic Art Gala

Look of the Week Naomie Harris Attends NSPCC Neo-Romantic Art Gala4

How does a Bond girl choose to dress for a red carpet event? Well, Harris…Naomie Harris (yeah, you like what we did there) chooses to stay ahead of the fashionistas and wear fashions not from 2015 but 2016. Harris made jaws drop in a creation from Mugler Resort 2016 collection. The floor length bi-color macramé dress wasn’t without it’s allure. The gown possessed a high side split revealing Naomie’s super toned gams.

Harris wore the Mugler design this week when she attended the NSPCC Neo-Romantic Art Gala. The gala was held at the Masterpiece London on June 30, 2015 in London, England. Naomie kept accessories to minimum choosing to tote a clutch and strut in black ankle strap heels.

Nevertheless, it seems like Naomie is enjoying the fashions of 2016 because this isn’t the only time she has recently sported future couture. At the Walkabout Foundation Inaugural Gala Harris floated down the red carpet in a dress from the Tory Burch Resort 2016 collection.

Style Ambassador: What is True Beauty?

Style Ambassador What is True Beauty

Our lovely Style Ambassador Carlifonia has been sharing her insights on fashion, life and how to be truly confident. Beauty is defined as “the quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether arising from sensory manifestations (as shape, color, sound, etc.), a meaningful design or pattern, or something else (as a personality in which high spiritual qualities are manifest). Nevertheless, due to the expanse of what beauty can truly mean from person to person there are numerous viewpoints on how to be beautiful.

Here is our SA’s personal definition:

“True beauty comes from the heart, not from the mirror. Aim to change the way you see yourself, not how you look [physically] then you will be beautiful! Remember the inside beauty is the reflection of the outside beauty.”

Well put Carlifonia and as always here is some more of her awesome streetstyle! This week she plays up her fun side with a chic printed pant, chain necklace and black top. See more of Carlifonia’s awesome style by following her on instagram @carlifonia_a.

Our Style Ambassador Carlifonia Presents Tuesday Motivation!

Our Style Ambassador Carlifonia Presents Tuesday Motivation

We hope that you have been enjoying all our posts designed to help develop confidence and pursue any and all dreams! Not all whether male or female are born with positive vibes or a powerful outlook on life. Of course dressing the part so to speak is a great way to not only express yourself but to gain a more positive view of oneself. However, we believe it is more than just fashions or clothes that truly make the woman.

Our Style Ambassador for her post this week enlightened us on what helps her to view life as being amazingly golden. She explained,

“Though time can determine when [things are] to start and when it is time to let go, sometimes it does not. We live through time, but I make the decision to choose to pick up [or focus on] moments that present to me necessities of life, those being: Love, peace, hope and joy. Those things I choose to wake up to every day, every morning. Therefore, since I aim to love myself I am my own necessity of life #womenarepower.”

We absolutely love her view on life and we hope you have enjoyed it too! Of course, we have to touch on Carlfonia’s style for just a moment. Don’t you just love her pair of glasses! Many girls are afraid to dive into anything considered “geek chic” but take a page from our Style Ambassador’s fashion book and incorporate some edge into your look at the same time to still look effortlessly cool. Carlfonia chose to pair her glasses with a cute leather jacket and jeans. Be sure to check back next week from another post by Carlifonia and see more of her style via Instagram: @carlifonia_a.

Kenzo Resort 2016

Kenzo Resort 2016 collection is in tune with mother nature. Such a great concept to use the world around you as inspiration to try and create new textile, fabrics and color combination you might sometimes overlook.

This Resort 2016 collection is heavy on camel, tan, brown and black. What we love also are the prints they look just like the texture of rock formations in the Palm Spring Desert Mountains. The collection is so beautiful to look at and looks extremely luxe. Kenzo has done it again with models Damaris Goddrie and Karly Loyce.

Aamito Lagum for Acne Resort 2016

Aamito Lagum for Acne Resort 2016. Have you taken note of Acne’s accessory piece. Acne went back to the 90’s with the choker necklaces that looked like tattoos. Now this is a flashback every girl used to rock  back in the day and thought they were super cool because you looked like you had this bad girl image.

However, Acne did class it up a bit by making the choker thicker and added other colors like gold and copper. Now seeing it paired with beautiful runway clothes it shows that you can take an old teeny-bopper classic from the 90’s add the perfect skirt to it or coat and you are now fashionable.
