Empire Season 3 Returns, On Set With Taraji P. Henson

It is official ladies and gentlemen we all finally get have some more of Cookie! Fox network recently confirmed that Empire Season 3 would be greenlighted and returning. The decision makes plenty of sense, due to the fact that Empire is an award-winning television hit and a ratings goldmine.

Nevertheless, Cookie Lyons aka Taraji P. Henson started a social frenzy by posting an at work pic. Henson’s on set photograph proved Empire Season 3 was in fact a reality. Taraji captioned the photo stating,

“The name is #Cookie ask about me. Y’all ain’t ready!!! #Empire we comin March 30 only on [FOX].”

Well, if you weren’t ready you better get ready! However, we were ready and expecting Cookie come back slaying the fashion game as per usual. She did not disappoint and made the earth move a little in Roberto Cavalli and Paul Andrew gladiator sandals. Don’t hurt them Cookie! We can’t wait to see what all Cookie has in store style wise for Empire season 3!

As the Ghana Fashion & Design week continues its speedy approach (October 2015), fashion enthusiasts can already begin to wet their style appetites with Wonderland. Wonderland is an editorial that was specially created for the event which was inspired by the ‘Discovery of Knowledge.’ What sort of knowledge gained will this spread bring to the fore?

The editorial showcases the talents of three models: Ebba Merrington, Sofia Elhaj and Emilyne Mondo. The models come together posing in a natural setting to show the social evolution that has occured throughout the years. For instance, the models can be seen holding books as well as gazing at their texts indicating that knowledge has been not only gained but applied.

Some key points in regards to the production of the editorial is that the shoot was lensed by Adrenus Craton. Moreover, the models were styled by Daryl Rita Osekreh with fashions and accessories from: Casely Hayford, Paul Andrew, Roberto Cavali, Just Cavali, Curiously London, Sophia Kah and Felicia Swartling. The stunning hair and makeup was handled by the award-winning Charlotte Mensah and MUA Elaine Lynskey.
