Hair: Going Natural On The Runway?

Hair: Going Natural On The Runway? Well it sure seems like it. Many designers have chosen to have some of our models rock “the natural look” aka an afro for their runway show. It was seen at the Givenchy Fall 2015 RTW and Stella McCartney Fall 2015 collection. This look can be absolutely beautiful and shows confidence and individualism when it is groomed and shaped nicely. So if you rock and Afro perfect, you should be confident with your own hair texture and not feel shamed to wear it; it is beautiful. However I hope this just doesn’t become a FAD or the industry trying to make you feel that this is the only way to wear your hair or that this is how all our hair looks like. As black woman we know we all have different textures of hair rather it’s curly, kinky or wavy. So please be confident with your hair alone and whichever way you feel like wearing it wear it like that.

But our question to you is will you rock the Fro?
