I would be willing to bet that most of you said yes. This is not entirely the wrong answer and I will tell you why.
Salad is exceptional as a weight loss food and probably the top type of food people think of when they think about losing weight. Salad for weight loss works because most lettuce consists mainly of water.
Being that it consists mainly of water is yet another reason that it works well for weight loss. Foods that are high in water content are excellent to eat. The reason for this is that you will be giving yourself very few carbohydrates and the less carbohydrates you take into the body the more weight loss you will see.
Salad for weight loss is also great because leafy green vegetables contain fiber.
