The Verdict: Hi there! Thanks for the DM and we LOVE that enjoyed all our posts on the 2020 Emmy Awards! Was so much fun for us too!
Nevertheless, let’s get into this look on Issa! Rae is working it in a designer look by the fabulous Sergio Hudson. As you probably already know, Hudson is MAJOR favorite of celebs. Having been seen on the likes of Beyonce, Michelle Obama, Tracee Ellis Ross, Storm Reid, Taraji P. Henson, Kelly Rowland, Gabrielle Union, Janelle Monae, Ariana Grande and JLO to name a few!
Sergio is known for his amazing runway as well as custom designs. Unfortunately, Issa Rae’s dress for The Emmy Awards is in fact a custom look; meaning it was made special for just her. However, we are sure if this style continues to garner accolades; we may just see it go into production!
