ESPN Anchor Stuart Scott Loses Cancer Battle

It is with very heavy hearts that we are writing regarding the passing of long-time ESPN anchor, Stuart Scott. Scott had been battling with cancer and on Sunday morning died at the tender age of 49. Sportscenter took to twitter immediately and tweeted:

“We are heartbroken to report that Stuart Scott has died after a long fight with cancer. He was 49. “

By 11 a.m. the heartfelt tweet had received over 150,000 retweets and 77,000 favorites. Showing that Stuart’s talents, personality and inspiration touched all that had been privileged to see him. Thank you for the fond memories Stuart and we will all do our best to stay “As cool as the other side of the pillow.”
