The talented ladies of Claws are already spreading the good news. This is a project that they have been hard at work on all year so it is nice to see the fruits of their labors pay off. Moreover, Karrueche Tran and Niecy Nash both took to social to confirm the big news from TNT of Claws headed to full production. Karreuche released this statement,
“We’re going to series! OMG this is such a magical moment in my life… sometimes I really can’t believe it. To be apart of this cast and production and the TNT family is a blessing! I love you ladies so much and I can’t wait to start filming again.”
Sounds like things are rolling on along for Tran especially on the big and small screen. Karrueche this year starred in a romantic comedy and also won an Emmy for her series The Bay. Furthermore, 2016 is capping off quite nicely for her now that she will star in a series on a major network. You go Karrueche!

So then, what is this show all about? Nash is not keeping any of us in the dark about the show. She shared a few details stating,
“Can’t wait to share this show with you guys! I love these ladies so freaking much! Karueche, Carrie Prestion, Jenn Lyon and Judy Reyes. At the center is salon owner Desna (Nash), who lives with and cares for her mentally ill twin brother, Dean (Perrineau). Desna’s staff includes best friend Jennifer (Lyon), a tenuously sober ex-party girl raising two children from previous relationships. Quiet Ann (Reyes), Desna’s enigmatic driver who also provides security for the salon. Polly (Preston), a mild-mannered preppy who recently served time in prison for identity theft; and Virginia (Tran), who makes no effort to hide her boredom and impatience with her job. Adding chaos to the Nail Artisan mix is Roller (Kesy), a gangstered out redneck who runs a barely legal pain clinic and uses Desna’s nail salon to launder their obscene profits.”
Sounds like drama in the city! Congratulations to Karrueche and Niecy on Claws being picked up. Also, don’t forget to check out the show on TNT when it airs.
