The Item
: Rapper and Icy Girl leader, Saweetie, made her fans Tap In with a drop dead gorgeous design from the Brandon Maxwell Pre-Spring 2021 Collection! Saweetie’s floor length ensemble was spied in an editorial for the latest edition of L.A. Magazine. LA Mag is a journal based in Los Angeles, California that covers all the “going’s on” in the popular metropolitan city. In her interview, Saweetie discusses her career and how she feels that with every project she takes on she grows and gets better. Also, she mentions that in 2021 she plans to release her first full length album!

You Asked: Like WOW! Saweetie always dresses well, but this is beautiful! My favorite color is green so of course I like this look on her. Do you know or have any details on it yet? Thanks!

The Verdict: Hey there! Thank you for reaching out to us here at 1966 Magazine! We too always love Saweetie’s couture looks and completely agree… she is absolutely stunning in this magazine editorial! So let’s get to the fashion details.

In her visuals for L.A. Mag hip hop artist Saweetie wears a voguish gown by luxury couture label, Brandon Maxwell. The rich emerald tone designer dress is from the highend brand’s Pre-2021 Collection. Brandon was very excited to have Saweetie wear one of his creations. Even revealing to fans that he’s dreamed of doing a fashion show with just Saweetie. We love that idea!
