Stella McCartney S/S 2016 – PFW

Collection: Stella McCartney S/S 2016 – PFW

Designer: Stella McCartney

Models Who Walked the Show: Karly Loyce, Lineisy Montero, Binx Walton, Herieth Paul, Afrodita Dominguéz, Aya jones

On The Runway: For me personally I feel like Stella McCartney’s collections are usually one note or is so straight laced that sometimes it just doesn’t always deliver that wow factor. Yet this season Stella really showed something new. I am in love with the pink pleated dress. The way it moves and how the dress a three dimensional feel makes we want to put it on right now. Also the orange see through dress is absolutely gorgeous.

KTZ Spring 2016- LFW

Collection: KTZ Spring 2016- LFW

Designer:  Marjan Pejoski

Models Who Walked the Show: Lily Fofana, Tamirys Melo, Leomie Anderson, Sienna King, Hannah Shakespeare, Mari Agory

On The Runway: Hmmm. Y’all out there talking about Kanye West collection and how bizarre that was but I think KTZ is giving him a run for his money. Not quite sure how to explain the direction or the concept of this show. So to quote KTZ the show was held to the phrase “The World to Come.” Heaven help us if this is how it will all end. Looks like we all are going to be punk rock ravers in the future with I guess Kanye West as President.

Burberry Spring 2016 London Fashion Week

Collection: Burberry Spring 2016 London Fashion Week

Designer: Christopher Bailey

Models Who Walked the Show: Ysaunny Brito, Lameka Fox, Lineisy Montero, Aamito Lagum, Binx Walton and Imaan Hammam

On The Runway:  If it’s not “Baroque Don’t Fix It”. Christopher Bailey delivered again this year for ss16. He doesn’t miss a beat. It’s an art how he is able to have a young “it” girl vibe to his collection yet the girls still look posh and refined. The runway was choke full of lace, sheer garments, plenty of intricate cut-out appliques and of course the Burberry trench which is the only type of trench you should ever have in your closet.

Spring 2016 Ready-to-Wear Felder Felder LFW

Collection: Spring 2016 Ready-to-Wear Felder Felder LFW

Designer: Daniela Felder, Annette Felder

Models Who Walked the Show: Hannah Shakespeare and Muna Mahamed

On The Runway: I know New York Fashion week just ended but now we are on to London. So to ease you in enjoy the looks of Felder Felder. There was no way to miss these models coming down the runway. They all were adorned in some sort of metallic material. What really caught my eye was the liquid metallic blue and gold looks. It’s so trippy and in your face that it really gives forms to the collection. Bravo.

J. Crew Fall 2015 Editorial

Who doesn’t love J.Crew. The clothes are so chic, well-tailored and are chock full of great investment pieces for  your wardrobe. This year J. Crew Fall 2015 Editorial is no different. It features black models Joan Small and Liya Kebede both wearing blazers in classic blue and Khaki. I do though love Liya’s look with the turtle neck with a a jean chambray over it tucked in straight leg denim with the great tailored blazer mentioned above. This is a great way to layer for the cooler months ahead without looking bulky.

Spring 2016 Ready-to-Wear The Blonds

Collection: Spring 2016 Ready-to-Wear The Blonds

Designer: The Blonds

Models Who Walked the Show: Katy Carola, Djenice Duarte Silva, Kad Diallo

On The Runway: Powder puff girls gone wild was the scene of this show. You can’t help but join in the fun at the Blonds runway show. It’s over the top, outlandish, bold and borderline bonkers but we love it. The Blonds don’t care, they go to the beat of their own drum. So if you like a lot of metallic, glitter and bustiers you’ve come to the right show.
